Do I need to RSVP for the weekend?

Yes! RSVPs are required for each of the services and planned meals. RSVP deadline is March 24.

If you or anyone you know did not receive an invitation, please contact the Temple office with complete name(s) and mailing address ([email protected]; 412-678-6181).

What hotels do you recommend for the out-of-town guests?

For those of you who plan to join us from out-of-town for this special weekend, a block of hotel rooms have been reserved at the following hotels:

• SpringHill Suites by Marriott (122 Daugherty Drive, Monroeville, 15146; 412-380-9100)
• Hampton Inn by Hilton (3000 Mosside Blvd. Monroeville, 15146; 412-380-4000)
• Hampton Inn–North Huntington-Irwin Turnpike Exit (8441 Country Club Drive, North Huntington; 724-863-9900)

PLEASE NOTE: if you reserve a room at one of these 3 hotels, but book outside the room block, please let the Temple office know you are coming and at which hotel you are staying.

What is the schedule for the weekend?

The schedule of events is as follow:

• Friday night, 7:30 pm–Shabbat service and oneg
• Saturday morning, 10 am–Shabbat service followed by kiddush lunch
• Saturday afternoon, 2-3:30 pm–Informal tour of the Temple’s Shaw Avenue building
• Saturday night, 5:30 pm–Cocktails (cash bar) and dinner at Stratigos Banquet Centre (131 Colonial Manor Road, North Huntingdon Twp.)

* Informal Elrod Cemetery visitation on Friday afternoon or Sunday morning
